Pattern: Girls easy summer dress 0-3months ^_^

This summer dress is 0-3months

Print out the two pictures both are A4 sheets! so should be printed full size on to A4 paper.(to make sure pattern is right size! seam allowance included

Instructions

Cut the 2 pattern pieces out of main material
and 2 of the lining material


Place the 2 fabric pieces face to face and sew along Side 'A' at both sides.
Now repeat for lining

Turn fabric piece right way round. Place lining section inside leaving it the wrong way round (this makes the hems be hidden ^_^)


Pin at top and bottom to keep pieces together

Bias tape all around 'C' This joins both the lining and fabric together neatly alternatively you could just hem the bottom.

Now bias tape along 'd' at both sides (again you can just hem instead if you prefer)

Now Fold down about 1cm of 'E' making sure you fold into the inside of the dress at both sides.
Sew straight along the bottom This makes like a tunnel :)
Which you can either thread ribbon through or some bias tape (fold it in half and sew all along!)

Tie at both shoulders and thats it your done!!!!!!!!!!!!

tutorial : maternity capris

I've had these cropped trousers for a while. but as they are tight and high waisted would never fit a bump so decided to attack them :)

I cut from the side to under the zip, Then from under zip to side. a sort of v shape. Then cut the waist band of straight across the back

Next i took a vest top and chopped it straight across top (removing straps)

Now i took the bottom peice and pinned face to face with trousers matching up the middle of the to to middle of trousers and side of top to side of trousers

sew then pin the back peice of trousers to top and sew

should look something like this

Now turn inside out Fold elastic (top bit) in half down ways and pin tucking under a small amount all the way round to make look neater pin!!

Sew all the way round.

Thats it your done :) :)
